Mumford & Sons, along with Ross Holmes and David Mayfield, perform “She Said Yes” (originally recorded by The Wedding Band) at a private event at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City on November 17, 2010. Enjoy!
There are many things I love about this, being the first the song they play. I love this pure folky style, it reminds me of my first time in American and it brings back a lot of good memories.
Then there’s the way Ted plays. Then there’s how Marcus manages to break two strings in the last twenty seconds. Then there’s how they speak to each other in the middle of the song, being mostly a group of friends playing for friends than a band performing for an audience.
So ladies and gentleman, here you have one of the best bands you can find in music nowadays.
